Mumbaata strikes back with the new “Oasis EP” released by Not For Us Records, including Torquato, Wender A & Rods Novaes’ remixes.
Oasis EP has 4 tracks, 2 originals and 2 remixes. The first homonymous track stands out for its continuous melody and deep chords that guarantee a hypnosis throughout the song. The second track “Mirage” has a similar mood as well, although with dissonant sounds giving it a melting sensation. The remix by Wender A & Rods Novaes for Oasis has remained quite faithful to the original song giving it an extra spice. In the other hand Andre Torquato chose a deep house approach using lots of electric pianos in his version.
This EP precedes some electronic music trends that are about to come out this Brazilian summer.
Mumbaata is formed by Lennox & Poyart, who in less than a year released their productions by D-Edge Rec, Dear Deer, Re:Sound and Tropical Beats labels.
